Training is an important part of Eqcetera which helps in both breeding and showing. Training increases performance stats (PS) which pass down to a horses offspring, determine show placement, and help move your horse to high show levels.
Many players prefer horses with higher PS and a good show record, both which require training to achieve! Horses that perform well will gain points and increase their horse level. Increasing horse level will result in horses that produce foals with a high training boost (TB). To learn more about TB visit the training boost page.
Training Your Horse
Horses can be trained 5 times a week with their training resetting 7 days after their last full train. (Ex. I train all 5 trainings on Monday, next Monday I can train again.). Training can only occur if your horses disciplines are set. Horses can be trained from three places:
- Your stable if boarded at home and you have the training facilities.
- Your horse’s boarding stable if boarded with someone else.
- Community Training on the World page.
If boarded to home or away, training can occur from the horses page if it is fed and watered. It can be trained at community training from the World page if fed and watered.
The training manual account upgrade is helpful if your stable has training facilities and horses are boarded at home. The manual allows you to mass train all horses 100 at a time. There are two manuals that can be bought. The item catalog details these.
